Lil Updates: Autumn, Cream Donuts and Camp

Hola everyone
I feel like I really haven't posted in  quite a while, due to being it quite busy, homework, training, the super lazy days etc. I have a few posts coming up tomorrow and next next week plus I am going to review a few lip products that I picked up today at the drugstore ;)

It's Finally Autumn!
Autumn and Winter are my legit favourite months of the year. Spring and Summer make me dry and break out lol.
Also to add onto the excitement..PUMPKINS! Yes, PUMPKINS! I love the look of them around plus my Mum's Pumpkin Soup..Omigosh...Heaven in a bowl!
Autumn also let's me do more posting, the days where it's too cold to even step outside, and I'm guaranteeing that the colour blocking trend is still going on, since I have seen that around but this month. The colours aren't bright, more moody, browny and textured fashion coming up!
Taking a break to look through my window at the orange and brown covered trees and the whitey grey sky.....

Cream Donuts love...
Not a great addiction to have. I like my cream donuts to have a little amount of cream 'cause I usually can't stand cream, kind of sickening actually, and lot's of icing, and a SPOON full of jam! Had one today, still....not....FINISHED.

Getting adventurous and gonna ride a toboggan
School Camp coming up in a few months! We are fundraising and the fee to go is $300, mum and dad aren't gonna like that! We are actually camping right underneath the Rimutaka's, where it's a HUGE hill, but not quite a mountain, and it snows there a lot!
Teacher said that there is going to be archery ( love! ), horse riding ( which I've never ever done, scared a tad ), again, Tobogganing and a whole lot more! We are going to be there for exactly a week, I'm sure mum and dad are glad to hear that, to take a rest from my continuous blabbering....jks.

Enough blabbering for now Court!!!! I hope you guy's aren't sleeping :o

4 Happiness Boosters

Love love love the feeling after sports.
I heard that some kind of chemical get's released as you play sports, which causes your happiness levels to rise.
If you're not the kinda person who likes sports, here are a few items that I put together in my little break:

These items are personally what I think makes me happy, you might like something a tad different:
  • Wonderstruck Perfume: This is such a happy scent. It's kind of fruity and sugary but at the same time it's quite floral but, omigosh I love this even though I only got a sample.

  • LUSH Rose Jam Bubbleroon: This is such a treat. A two in one bath melt and bubble bar??!! SOLD! This has a super fragrant Rose scent but I think it also has a scent of lemons, like sugary Turkish Delight!

  • Give your Room a makeover: By making your space much more you, organized and clean will honestly, make you a thousand times happier. It doesn't have to be an enormous change like painting the walls different etc, just change around furniture, decor and however you want. It also gives you an excuse to relax in your new Feng Shuied  room!

  • Truffles: Ohhhhh, so yum! Truffles wouldn't be my everyday treat because I get sick of chocolate very quickly, but sometimes, it's just eating something from heaven!

I'm getting ready to have a relaxing moment now because I have a sports day tomorrow, and, what is your happiness booster?

a PINK day: Crushes, Old Lush storage, Decor and more

Hola girls and guys!!!!!!
Today was so great, just like every other day in my very, unusual life lol.
Anyway I wanna tell you guys that my mum is very conscious on Feng Shui, and she tries to keep my room as positive/ good energy ish  as possible. I have now come to love it since I have been planning to redecorate my room and this is perfect. Just type in Feng Shui in google and it will come up with great tips!

Anyway, a PINK day post is all about some cool things that I've come across', want or did so let's get started..
Picture from Google Images
Ok this bit is probs my favourite. Today at technology ( a place we go to every Tuesday to take classes to make things ourselves such as woodworks, sewing etc ), we were talking about who we like. There were a few boys who weren't eager to tell me and my friends but they liked to make us go " pleaaaase telll meeee!! ". I guess it was just the attention. Anyway, one boy said it's out of you four, including me. We were like " whoah that's awkward " well, I did. I tried to get it out of him but he still wouldn't say it although, my friends were like " IT'S YOU!!" to me 'cause apparently I'm kinda the "flirt" out of my friends, according to them. Doubt It ;)

Wow! Looking back at this photo! My collection is too big for this cake stand now, which is kinda sad because I loved this! Most things here though I actually still have! Uhhhhh, I'm so bad!

Wanting to do this project for a really long time! This picture shows how to make a nail polish jar ( or anything you like ) out of a burned down candle! Honestly, I've come to <3 this idea, will you do this DIY as well?

BROWNIE, BROWNIE, BROWNIE LOVE! OMG brownies are my all time favourite desert in the whole  entire world. Chocolate, just chocolate plain brownies, not frosted, maybe some M&Ms but that's all I want on my brownie! I usually buy the brownie mix which come with mini M&Ms by Betty Crocker.....mmm so yum!

LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics Soap Review!

Hey everyone!
For the last few months ( from October to now ) I have been on a hunt for the perfect soap because I actually have eczema, so there for drug store, supermarket soap, or soap that isn't natural can get me quite itchy. That reminds me, yesterday I accidentally mixed up my LUSH Snowcake soap ( ahhhh, my favourite soap from LUSH ) with a soap and my skin started to become very dry and irritated.

Onto this lil' review, I've come to be obsessed with LUSH soap. Every time I walk in there I go straight to the little table where they stack there HUGEEEE chunks of soap together.
They have a bunch of different smelling soaps for every skin type. The soaps LUSH makes uses fresh and organic ingredients as well as safe synthetics. Onto the review....

Sultana of Soap
Sultana of soap 7.49 100g
This one is Sultana of soap, and it has a very fresh, clean laundry like scent mixed with a creamy undertone, to be honest I kinda got sick of the scent. What really caught me is the top, it has something like raisins, cranberries, it sounds like a feast on a chunk of soap! This one is supposed to resemble Italian Nougat, which sounds real fancy.

This soap has a very creamy lather but this wears down SOOO quickly, which I kinda expect out of a
creamy soap. It is also quite moisturizing.

The Godmother
The Godmother  $7.49 100g
I LOVE the scent of this soap!!! It smells like a sweet, sugary raspberry candy!
Also to add on the compliment, how pretty it is. The dark red to the bright, jelly pink is just, omg.
Although, to me this soap was quite drying, I guess it was because that Lush kept on referring this soap as a HAND SOAP! I can see why it is. lol. But, this might be my favourite soap if I use it straight after sports, like, to me the dry feel of skin kinda makes me feel clean, i dunno.
Honey I Washed The Kids Soap
Honey I washed the kids $7.99 100g

Yum! This soap is amazing if you love the scent of Caramel, Toffee and Vanilla!
It smells sooo good. It also has an undertone of citrus plus a hint of burnt caramel. Is that just me or what?
This soap is super moisturizing, as it has Aloe Vera and Honey to soothe sensitive skin. The scent also lightly lingers on your skin after you step out of the shower and dry!

And a little thing...how cute is the honeycomb design on the top? Beware though, it's actually wax so it won't get you clean plus it won't melt onto your skin ;-)

You've entered the door to my world!

BINGO! The first GOOD picture of my backyard!

Hey everyone!
I'm SOOO excited about my new blog, The Pink Door!!
I've created a lot of blogs but I really haven't been happy with them, I know it's a super bad habit but I'm sure that this one is going to be a MAJOR success!
If you haven't read the sidebar, there is a little profile thingy that tells you all about me but you'll get to know me better through the upcoming posts!
I can tell you one thing though......I'm a LUSH addict! A girl like me who plays sports everyday and every week can feel sooo much better after a fun LUSH experience!  The only thing is... I have to drive an hour and a half to get there so I don't go there so often. Plus, Mum and Dad won't let me buy online either!

So I made this blog because I really wanted to post some of my fashion choices, fun looks and tips which are a tad unusual. And also to shout out my obsession with Lush...

DAMN! I have to go do homework! Oh well, I'll talk to you guys later!!
